I just found a product that is dried to remove oils or acrylics. It is very safe and nontoxic. This will not hurt, whatever you say, unless the painting is naturally dry. It's called "Winsor & Newton Brush cleaning and restoration. I bought it on Aaron Brothers Art Mart. You can Easy-Off oven cleaner, too, but must be yellow only in blue. Do not, can use the blue one. The smoke-free and very sweet, but in color. Bye
